TORONTO, June 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Josée and Louis, hosts of TFO's flagship program for pre-school children, Mini TFO, are proud to welcome the famous Canadian children's TV character Caillou to Toronto for the first time. Mini TFO and Caillou will be presenting a free show live from the stage at Toronto's Dundas Square on June 23 at 11 a.m., as part of the 31st annual Franco-Fête, Toronto's International Francophone Festival. The show will give kids the chance to meet the three famous TV characters in person and enjoy some comedy sketches, songs, games and nursery rhymes along with them.
After the show, kids and their families will be invited to visit Mini TFO Village, which has been specially designed and installed for this event. The village includes a farm based on the well loved children's song La ferme du père Anselme, with real farm animals. Kids and their families will also get the chance to get their pictures taken with Louis, Josée and Caillou and share a gift with them.
Mini TFO is a children's TV show and more—it is a whole world where children ages 2 to 6 can enjoy videos and games designed to stimulate their imaginations in an environment that is both fun and educational. Hosts Louis and Josée invite children to join them in this world where they can give their creativity free rein through songs, stories and games, every day starting at 6:00 a.m. on television and on demand at tfo.org/minitfo, as well as via Mini TFO applications for smart phones and tablet devices. Mini TFO is also the place where preschoolers can enjoy their best loved characters, such as Caillou, Thomas the Tank Engine and Mouk, to name just a few.
