BSTREET takes the Toronto Entertainment District mobile with responsive design

TORONTO, July 31, 2013 /CNW/ - The Toronto Entertainment District BIA launched a responsive design mobile site for on-the-go visitors and residents of the district to quickly and easily navigate their way through the area via their mobile device. The mobile site, developed by BSTREET, brings the Toronto Entertainment District to the next generation of web with geo-targeting features and responsive design architecture. The site allows users to explore their surroundings through a powerful and intuitive interface.  Responsive design is a new form of fluid, dynamic formatting that automatically readjusts the content to the device's screen size. It provides an optimal and more robust experience that can adapt to the ever changing resolutions of emerging devices.

The site includes a "smart map" that uses geo-locating technology to pinpoint the location of the mobile device in relation to the district and provide details for nearby points of interest.
