MONTREAL, Nov. 18 /CNW Telbec/ - Boutique Jacob Inc. today announced that it applied to the Quebec Superior Court (the "Court") for protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA").
"The purpose of the application is to allow us to restructure our activities in an orderly fashion in the best long-term interests of the company, its employees, suppliers, creditors, customers and other partners," said Joey Basmaji, President of JACOB. "In the immediate future, JACOB will continue operating normally, and all of our stores across the country will remain open.
