TORONTO , Sept. 29 /CNW/ - Biosign Technologies Inc. (CNSX: BIO) today announced a long-term commercial agreement with NovaMed Diagnostics Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Biosign will provide devices and services for blood pressure and cardiovascular assessment, with priority delivery of new releases as they become available.

NovaMed shall initially deploy the UFIT(R) TEN-10 for its recently announced use in ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (see Biosign News dated September 25 , 2009), as well as for use in the NovaMed clinic.

With its advanced diagnostic capability, UFIT(R) significantly reduces the number of blood pressure readings thus increasing patient adherence. UFIT(R) redefines the method by which medical monitoring systems are used in the health care arena by optimizing data collection and empowering patients while providing much needed cost reduction relief to the health care system.
