TORONTO , Nov. 23 /CNW/ - The Standing Committee on General Government will meet to consider Bill 187, An Act to amend the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000 and the Safety and Consumer Statutes Administration Act, 1996.

The Committee intends to hold public hearings on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in Toronto .

Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation on Bill 187 should contact the Committee Clerk by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 .

Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the Committee Clerk at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 26, 2009 .
