SARNIA, ON, Jan. 9, 2017 /CNW/ - BDO Canada LLP, ('BDO') one of the largest accounting and advisory firms in Canada, is pleased to announce its merger with Hazlitt Steeves Harris Dunn LLP (HSHD), effective January 1, 2017. The addition of the Sarnia-based accounting and advisory firm strengthens BDO's position in the Highway 402 corridor and creates a dominant firm in Sarnia to support local businesses.
Founded in 1998, HSHD is one of the largest accounting and advisory firms serving the Sarnia-Lambton area, and recently expanded its presence in the London area with the acquisition of a practice in Lambeth. Since its inception, HSHD has provided strong accounting and tax services to a wide variety of clients, with a focus on owner-managed businesses, including professionals and those within the construction, manufacturing, automotive and transportation sectors, as well as First Nations, public sector organizations, and not-for-profit and educational organizations.
