BCIC announces departure of Dean Rockwell, CEO
BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - BCIC's Board of Directors announced today Dean Rockwell, CEO, will be leaving the organization on October 15, 2010. Rockwell will be stepping into a new role within the private technology sector in BC.
Under Rockwell's leadership, BCIC has made great strides in refining its strategic direction and focus. BCIC is committed to promoting the development of entrepreneurs and the commercialization of technology in our province.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at BCIC. Returning to British Columbia after my tenure in the United States has been one of the most rewarding decisions I've made," said Rockwell. "I am deeply connected to BCIC and its mission and look forward to working alongside the organization. In regards to my future, I am excited to return to private industry."

BCIC has established a search committee to find a new CEO for the organization.
