VANCOUVER, Dec. 3, 2012 /CNW/ - Canada Marine Biotech Research Corp. is pleased to host a December 15, 2012 luncheon event to welcome Nanjing Joymain Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd. The event will celebrate the strategic alliance formed between the British Columbia, Canadian company and Joymain, headquartered in Nanjing, China.
Joymain ( www.joymain.com ) is a high-tech R&D, production, and marketing company, a leader in health care products and commodities. With 12,000 marketing and service employees, 3,000 after sales service employees and a customer database of 50 million, Joymain is considered one of the most important companies in China's health products industry. Joymain also sells to supermarkets and pharmacies and through two million distributors across China.
Joymain is pleased to introduce the launch of its "Cellight" line, which integrates the marine phytoplankton provided exclusively by Canada Marine Biotech of British Columbia. Chinese import certification has now been secured.
The delegation from Joymain, spearheaded by Mr. Youshan Wang, Chairman, and Mr. Xijian Zhuo, Vice Chairman, will formalize their relationship with Canada Marine Biotech, visit production facilities, and promote their "Cellight" product, as well as discuss future opportunities for working together with Canada Marine Biotech.
"Canada Marine Biotech organically harvests, formulates and grows a natural combination of over 200 species of marine phytoplankton on Vancouver Island," said Dr. Richard Zurbrigg, Chief Science Officer at Canada Marine Biotech. "The company works with its network to further process this into a complex, patent pending, high quality product that is fully certified in Canada as a potent neutraceutical. Marine phytoplankton in this form has been shown to boost energy levels, improve immune systems, enhance general well-being and provide health restorative support. Getting to where we are today has taken over $2 million and eleven years of studies, testing and certification." Dr. Zurbrigg adds "Our product is a combination of advanced science, nature, and even traditional healing used by Aboriginal peoples."
Currently, Canada Marine Biotech produces 'Cellton', a health supplement line in Canada (http://www.canadacellton.ca), and a US brand 'Baby Boomer Reboot' (http://babyboomer-reboot.com) marketed by a major US based national agency to mega retailers and online dealers including Amazon and USA Sports.
International cooperation is key for both parties. Jay Silverberg, Canada Marine Biotech's Acting Chairman adds, "As we look to grow internationally, we seek out strong and important partners, with excellent management. Joymain is just such an organization. We look forward to a long and mutually profitable business relationship with Joymain".
