Baylin Technologies Announces Contract Award with Worldwide Technology Leader
TORONTO, Aug. 22, 2017 /CNW/ - Baylin Technologies Inc. ("Baylin") (TSX: BYL) today announced that it has been awarded a contract for a state-of-the-art Fiber Gateway Antenna solution. As a result of this award, Baylin will be working in close partnership with a large fortune 500 OEM that is designing the product. The technology includes an 8x8 MIMO 802.11ac WiFi chipset with a fully optimized antenna solution efficiently integrated onto a dedicated antenna carrier structure. Baylin designed the individual antenna elements, as well as the integrated assembly, and will perform all verification testing, both passive and active OTA, in a large, multi-story test house. Production of antennas is scheduled to begin in Q1 2018.
The partner in this project is a worldwide technology leader in the media and entertainment sector and is a leader in digital innovation.
