BASF Canada awards three lucky growers with $5000 in herbicides
MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 13, 2015 /CNW/ - Three lucky growers from across Western Canada each took home a grand prize of $5000 worth of herbicides courtesy of BASF Canada.
Growers were entered into the grand prize drawing after watching a video about resistance management and how to minimize the impact of weeds on their farm.
"BASF is committed to educating growers on herbicide resistance," said Danielle Eastman, Western Herbicides Brand Manager at BASF Canada. "This contest gave growers the opportunity to learn more about best practices for managing resistance from experts in the field while giving them a chance to win a great prize."
Prizes were awarded to Bill Simpson of Boissevain, Manitoba, Doug Herman from Drumheller, Alberta and Tom Lindenback from Weekes, Saskatchewan each took home $5000 of BASF herbicides.
