BASF "Ask the Expert" series will provide real-time support to growers

MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 16, 2015 /CNW/ - From seeding to harvest, BASF Canada will provide real-time technical support to growers through Twitter via "Ask the Expert" series. Each session will include a guest tweeter who will provide real-time technical support to answer growers' questions on timely topics from the field this season. The first session will take place Wednesday, March 18, 12-1 CDT.

The "Ask the Expert" Twitter series is another avenue that allows BASF to offer technical staff expertise to growers, retailers and media across Canada throughout the 2015 growing season," said Jeff Bertholet, Technical Development Manager at BASF Canada."
BASF is dedicated to providing growers agronomic support to help them be successful each growing season. The first "Ask the Expert" Twitter session will focus on pulse and soybean inoculants and current issues with guest tweeter Russell Trischuk, Technical Marketing Specialist, Functional Crop Care at BASF.
The 2015 Twitter "Ask the Expert" series will cover the following topics:
- West – Pulse and soybean inoculants, March 18, 2015
- East – Pre-plant herbicide applications, April 22, 2015
- West – Fungicide application timing, May 6, 2015
- West – In-crop herbicide applications, May 20, 2015
- East – Pre-harvest herbicide applications, August 26, 2015
- West – Pre-harvest herbicide applications, September 9, 2015
