LÉVIS, QC, May 23, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - Bases.ai, a company acting as the missing link between theory and practice in industrial artificial intelligence, has today announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the company SenseAI Technologies, Inc.
Founded in 2017 and based in Montreal, SenseAI has developed a powerful software and hardware solution for hybrid data acquisition (cloud and edge computing) capable of being integrated with the various protocols used in the industrial sector (Modbus, BACnet, etc.). The company also designed powerful modular wireless smart sensor that can collect industrial data without having to replace the existing equipment.
"Data is at the core of any machine learning project. With SenseAI, we can solve this key part of the AI business equation while opening the door to numerous opportunities for innovation," emphasizes Martin Bouchard, cofounder of Bases.ai.

The definitive purchase agreement is planned to take effect by June 30, 2019.
