Barrie Athletic Club to use UFIT(R) Health Monitoring System

TORONTO, April 26 /CNW/ - Biosign Technologies Inc. (CNSX: BIO) ("Biosign" or the "Company") and Barrie Athletic Club ("BAC") today announced they have signed an Agreement to utilize UFIT(R) monitors in assessing and refining BAC health and fitness programs as well as to sell Biosign products and services to their members.

BAC is a multi-discipline athletic facility with approximately 700 members. The facility works closely with its members in achieving their fitness and performance goals, providing a wide range of recreational and high performance programs.

"This agreement marks our entry in the wellness, fitness, and sports market. UFIT(R) will enable BAC trainers and members to tailor fitness and sports programs according to health status and physiological response to exercise" - said John Anders, Biosign's VP Business Development and Sales. Paul Ryan, co-owner of the BAC, noted: "We have used a number of tools within our programs to assist our trainers and members monitor their progress and wellbeing. We look forward to using the UFIT Health Monitoring System in our current and future programs. A single device that monitors multiple physiological parameters, and enables our members to access their readings online both at the club and at home provides flexibility that does not exist in other devices on the market today."

Under the terms of the agreement, UFIT will be introduced to BAC members, made available for regular readings, and integrated into programs for monitoring the impact of training. Members will be able to purchase Biosign products and monitoring services for personal use.
