Babies"R"Us® Pampers and Delights Hundreds of New and Expectant Edmonton Moms During "R" Big Baby Shower

EDMONTON, Nov. 20, 2014 /CNW/ - Today, Babies"R"Us, Canada treated hundreds of soon-to-be and new moms to a lavish baby shower and a movie at Cineplex Odeon in North Edmonton. Just in time for the holidays, guests were pampered and treated to hand massages, scrumptious treats such as pickles and ice cream at the Crave Café, interactive shower games and access to the year's top products for baby registries. New and expectant moms in attendance won free passes to the shower in an online Babies"R"Us® contest.

"We wanted to recognize all the hard work moms do and give them the royal treatment for the afternoon," said Liz MacDonald, vice president of marketing and store planning, Babies"R"Us, Canada. "With the busy upcoming holiday season, "R" Big Baby Shower was the perfect way for Edmonton soon-to-be and new moms to relax while learning about this year's must-have baby gear."

Following the shower, moms were treated to a screening of the movie "What to Expect When You're Expecting." All guests walked away with a gift bag and many received large giveaways and prizes, such as Phillips Avent Breast Pump, Angelcare Movement and Sound Monitor, Summer Infant Musical Bouncer, Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, BabyBjorn Baby Carrier and more!
