Bradley Bardua, CA, brings extensive experience in leadership positions with fast-growing public companies
VANCOUVER, Jan. 23, 2012 /CNW/ - Avigilon (TSX:AVO), a leader in high-definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance systems, today announced the appointment of Bradley Bardua, CA, to the position of chief financial officer effective immediately.
Mr. Bardua has extensive experience working with fast-growing public companies in sectors such as technology, gaming, hospitality and energy. Over the past two decades, he has helped companies raise hundreds of millions of dollars through equity and debt offerings in Canada and the US and has led teams responsible for mergers and acquisitions, financial management and corporate governance.
Recent positions include CFO roles at Pacific BioEnergy Corporation and Gateway Casinos, where he was a member of the senior leadership team overseeing a $250-million-a-year operation with 3,400 employees.

Wan H. Jung, a director and co-founder of Avigilon, has stepped down from his role as CFO. Mr. Jung helped the company grow from a start-up in 2004 to a multinational leader offering a complete range of innovative high-definition surveillance systems.
Mr. Jung, who plans to retire from full-time work, will remain on Avigilon's board of directors and continue serving with the company as corporate secretary and in the capacity of advisor. He will also be available through to completion of the fourth quarter and year-end auditing process.
