Avcorp Provides Update on Annual Audited Financial Statements
VANCOUVER, June 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Avcorp Industries Inc. (TSX: AVP) (the "Company", "Avcorp" or the "Avcorp Group") is providing this update on its annual audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2016, interim financial report for the period ended March 31, 2017, management discussion and analysis for the periods ended December 31, 2016 and March 31, 2017, annual information form for the year ended December 31, 2016 and the associated certifications for the periods ended December 31, 2016 and March 31, 2017 (the "Annual and Interim Filings"). The Company is not able to file its Annual and Interim filings because its audit is not yet complete. The management cease trade order issued on March 30, 2017 has ended and a general cease trade order has been issued effective June 19, 2017.
The Company's Board of Directors and management confirm that they are working to complete the Annual and Interim Filings. Management believes that all significant processes to complete the audit have been addressed and anticipates that the Annual and Interim Filings will be completed in a short time frame to minimize disruption to Company security holders. There is no other material information respecting the Company's affairs that has not been generally disclosed.
The Company intends to continue to issue further press releases to update security holders during the period which the Company remains in default of the Annual and Interim filing requirements.
