AJAX, ON, May 22, 2015 /CNW/ - Daniel Weissland will be joining Audi Canada as President succeeding Wolfgang Hoffmann who has completed his three year foreign assignment. Weissland is presently the Sales Director for Southern Europe and based in Ingolstadt, Germany.
Weissland holds a MBA and Engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences Munich. He has held increasingly progressive roles within AUDI AG, in areas of Sales, Marketing, Network Development and Product Management. His previous achievements include being part of a team that founded the National Sales Company in Dubai. At the beginning of 2011 he took his present position as Sales Director for Southern Europe.
The Audi Group delivered approximately 1,741,100 cars of the Audi brand to customers in 2014. In 2013, the company reported revenue of €49.9 billion and an operating profit of €5.03 billion. The company operates globally in more than 100 markets and has production facilities in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm (Germany), Győr (Hungary), Brussels (Belgium), Bratislava (Slovakia), Martorell (Spain), Kaluga (Russia), Aurangabad (India), Changchun (China) and Jakarta (Indonesia).
