AUDI CANADA ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR UPCOMING AUDI BEST BUDDIES CHALLENGE
TORONTO, Sept. 28 /CNW/ - At a media conference held at the Shops at Don Mills, popular television personality Rosey Edeh of Entertainment Tonight Canada announced that she will be among the star-studded entrants to participate in the inaugural Audi Best Buddies Challenge - to be held on October 24, 2010. The Audi Best Buddies Challenge, which will also start and finish at the Shops at Don Mills, is a premiere 10k, 5k and 1k walking/running event designed to be enjoyed by every member of the family. Best Buddies Canada is a national charitable organization that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
At the media event - that brought Ms. Edeh together with Audi Canada CEO Martin Sander and Best Buddies Canada Co-Founder Penny Shore - it was announced that Masters Champion and Canadian golf icon Mike Weir, Canadian Olympic gold medalists Alex Bilodeau, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, and Canadian Olympic Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette will be among the international celebrities who take part in the challenge. The race aims to both spotlight the important work being undertaken by Best Buddies Canada and raise much needed funding for their special programs.

About Audi Best Buddies Challenge
The 2010 Audi Best Buddies Challenge is a premiere event for every athlete in the family. The inaugural event will feature a 10k route for runners, a picturesque 5k route for walkers and power walkers, and for the kids 'in training', a 1k Shoelace Walk. Hosted at the unique urban village, Shops at Don Mills, the Grand Prize winner of the 10k Run will be awarded the use of an Audi A5 Cabriolet and an Audi Q5 over a one year period. The Grand Prize winner of the 5k Walk/Power Walk will be awarded the use of an 'Audi for All-Seasons' - an Audi for one week each season over a one year period.
