75% of Canadians use social media yet only 3% use it to help find the perfect holiday gift
TORONTO, Nov. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Holiday shopping is fun but finding the right gift can be downright stressful for Canadians. According to a recent PayPal Canada survey, a whopping sixty-six per cent of Canadians said that their significant others were the hardest people to shop for during the holiday season. This is surprising news considering partners and spouses are the people we should know the best.
Adding to shoppers' struggles, the survey also revealed that 65 per cent of Canadians are not confident that the gifts they buy will wow their loved ones. Gift giving during the holiday season should be easier than this, shouldn't it?
PayPal thinks holiday shopping should be stress free and is pointing to Canadians' love affair with social media as the answer to finding the perfect gift for everyone on their list.
