Atlanta Gold Inc. Appoints Wm. Ernest Simmons as President and CEO of its U.S. Subsidiary, Atlanta Gold Corporation

TORONTO, Feb. 20, 2013 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc. (TSXV: ATG; OTCQX: ATLDF) announces that Wm. Ernest Simmons, has been appointed President and CEO of the Company's subsidiary, Atlanta Gold Corporation, Idaho ("AGC") to facilitate the transition of the Atlanta Gold project from exploration through ongoing development. "Mr. Simmons, who has dual Canadian-U.S. citizenship, moved to Boise five years ago to join the Company and has contributed immeasurably to the development of the Atlanta Project and we look forward to his continued leadership," said James K. Gray, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "I would also like to thank Bill Baird for his extraordinary efforts and dedication during his tenure as President and CEO of AGC. We look forward to the Company benefiting from this change to our U.S. organization."

The changes mark important steps in the organizational development of the Company as outlined in the news release of June 20, 2012.
