At the Collins Barrow Partners' Conference, The Future is Now!
WATERLOO, ON, Sept. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - From September 20-24, Collins Barrow partners from across the country will gather in Chicago, Illinois to pave an exciting path forward at the network's annual Partners' Conference. This event empowers firms and individuals to build on past successes to engineer even greater value for clients and their teams.
Building on the theme of the conference, The Future is Now!, this year's keynote address will be delivered by Vince Poscente, one of the most sought after motivational speakers in the world today. Known for "accelerating extraordinary," he will help Collins Barrow partners develop new tools to exceed their clients' lofty expectations. Dedicated to helping world class organizations become bigger and better, Poscente achieves record-setting results more rapidly than expected.
"Our Partners' Conference is a highly anticipated annual event, where our leaders from coast to coast gather for not only empowering professional development opportunities, but to meet at the committee-level to analyze accomplishments and set strategies for the coming year," said recently named Collins Barrow National chair Grant Galbraith.
Last year's conference gave members a forum to address the potential implications of government proposals that would change the taxation of private corporations and their shareholders. Following these discussions, Collins Barrow released a recommendation to the Canadian government, urging it to delay the enactment of these measures.

This year's conference also features "Let's Be Clear," a new speaker series in the TED Talks tradition. On Sept. 22, three distinguished speakers – Shannon Huffman Polson, Justin Kingsley and Stuart Knight – will cover a range of topics, including overcoming fear, high-level communication and the power of storytelling. These talks will be livecast to reach an even broader range of viewers far beyond the conference.
