Arrow Capital Management Inc. Announces Exemplar Growth and Income Fund
TORONTO, March 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Arrow Capital Management Inc. ("Arrow Capital") today announced the launch of the Exemplar Growth and Income Fund.
A balanced fund that offers strategic asset allocation, the Growth and Income Fund will invest primarily in equity and fixed income securities managed by an experienced group of managers from Arrow Capital.
The Fund's investment objective is to grow capital through equity and fixed income allocations and to protect the portfolio through various hedging techniques. The Fund is designed to address the key challenges faced by retail investors in the current low rate environment: income, growth and safety of capital.
The Fund will be actively managed featuring three Portfolio Managers; Veronika Hirsch (Arrow Capital Management Inc), Mike MacBain and Mike Swan (East Coast Fund Management Inc). The Fund's equity allocation will be led by Veronika Hirsch, who has over 25 years in investment experience in Portfolio Management as the former Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager at BluMont. The fixed income strategies will be led by Mike MacBain, who is a fixed income specialist with over 25 years of experience in fixed income, money markets, derivatives and foreign exchange as the former President of TD Securities and Head of Global FIC (fixed income, cash, derivatives and currencies) at RBC Capital Markets.
The Fund will offer a distribution class of shares that will pay 3% on a quarterly basis.
