WATERLOO, ON, April 22 /CNW/ - ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSX: APV and Frankfurt: A3T), which is dedicated to becoming a leader in high-performance, high-quality, cost-effective solar technology, today announced that the Company completed the ninth drawdown in the amount of $300,000 from its previously announced Committed Equity Facility Agreement with Haverstock Master Fund ("Haverstock").
Under the terms of the Agreement, to complete the $300,000 drawdown, ARISE issued 1,959,298 common shares to Haverstock at an average price of $0.153 per share. As per the Equity Facility agreement, in order to complete the drawdown, ARISE issued common shares to Haverstock at a price equal to the weighted average market price determined over a pricing period of five trading days, less a 6.5% discount. The five trading days which determined the pricing of the drawdown fell between April 8 and April 14, 2010.
As of today ARISE has also issued a subsequent drawdown notice under the facility in respect of a drawdown of $130,000. Closing of this drawdown is to be completed on or about April 30, 2010. This will complete the initial tranche of the Committed Equity Facility.
