MONTRÉAL, May 21, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec Technology Association (AQT) is launching a directory of ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) solutions and products designed to help executives in the manufacturing sector discover the range of Quebec solutions available to them. AQT invited member companies serving the manufacturing sector to update their own information in the Guide in order to create a continually updated online directory freely accessible to buyers through the Association's Web site.
Increasing the productivity of manufacturing companies
Solutions offered by AQT members are used by manufacturing companies operating in a broad range of fields: aerospace, electronics, construction, food, plastics, transportation, pulp and paper, made-to-order products, metal, furniture, etc.
"All the solutions listed in the directory of technological solutions for the manufacturing sector are designed to enhance the performance and competitiveness of companies operating in this field", stated Nicole Martel, Chief Executive Officer of AQT.
Increasing awareness of Quebec ICT providers
The AQT Barometer, a tool used to outline the business practices of Quebec ICT companies, illustrates that the manufacturing sector is a major focus for these companies. In fact, when asked to name the two main market segments for their ICT solutions, 36% of respondents listed the manufacturing sector.
Using this directory, buyers seeking technological solutions would be better able to gauge the range of solutions available from Quebec providers.
