QUESTIONS AND SOLVE WORLDWIDE CHALLENGES

LONDON, ON, Oct. 15 /CNW/ - Philosophers think through difficult questions regarding science and technology before they catch the public's eye -- whether considering the legal or ethical consequences of technological innovations before they hit the market, or debating the appropriate goals of publicly funded research in a democracy. Scientists have the expertise and knowledge to develop solutions to many of the challenges we face in the modern world. Collaboration between philosophers and scientists can help ensure that society guides scientific research appropriately and responds to research results productively.
