DIALOG's continual focus on bringing and amplifying the talents, passion and knowledge of their team is showcased with the appointment of five new associates. "These five individuals bring innovative solutions to our project, emphasize collaboration with our clients and are proven leaders in our firm".
Newly Appointed Associates:
Bruce McCallum, LEED® AP, is a LEED® accredited professional with over 10 years of experience in the industry. As a DIALOG's National Design Technology Manager, Bruce is responsible for providing strategic input on our direction with BIM (Building Information Modelling) design technology systems and for supporting our teams in their use of Revit, AutoCAD, VectorWorks, Navisworks and other related software. As an Associate, Bruce will continue to lead and execute the strategic plan for Design Technology at DIALOG.
Ryan Willmer, PEng, has been an important member of DIALOG's structural engineering team since joining the firm back in 2006. A graduate from the University of Alberta, Ryan is keenly interested in the analysis and design of concrete and steel structures, including bridges and office buildings. Ryan is being recognized for a combination of his leadership, technical skills and client-focused mentality, as demonstrated by his work on the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, SAIT Trades and Technology Complex and Federated Co-op's retail petroleum projects.
Richard C. Innes, Dip. Arch. Tech., CET, is a seasoned project manager with knowledge in all phases and disciplines of a project. With over 18 years of experience, Richard is well versed in understanding the client's needs and the needs of the overall project. Since joining DIALOG in 2010, Richard has been an instrumental part of the team for projects such as the Currents of Windemere, Century Crossing Shopping Centre and the Westmount Call Centre Renovation. Richard's expertise in project and client management has earned him a strong reputation in the industry and amongst clients, and is often specifically requested to be involved in their projects.
Mike Corpuz, BA Architectural Design, is a recognized leader on his studio's architectural design team and has been with DIALOG since graduating from the University of Toronto in 2001. A mentor to students and new intern architects in the studio, Michael is a passionate designer with a wide variety of projects in his portfolio of work, including the National Institute of Nanotechnology, NAIT Spartan Centre, St. Joseph Seminary, and all four designs for the Royal Alberta Museum. Michael is known and respected by clients for his focus on customer service and drive for design excellence.
Tania Oppedisano, BA, CHRM, joined DIALOG in 2009 as the Human Resources Generalist for the Toronto Studio. When she subsequently moved into the role of National Recruitment Manager, Tania was instrumental in bringing in talent to staff the Toronto Studio. As a result, she has a strong connection with and is a trusted-advisor to many in the studio, giving her a unique position of influence and leadership. In 2011, Tania assumed the role of Studio Administrator, where she has proven her leadership skills and has improved on the consistent delivery of her team. Her reliability and positive attitude have earned her trust among the Principals and her peers, positioning her as the go-to person for the studio.
