Amerpro Board of Directors approves name change

VANCOUVER, Oct. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - AMERPRO RESOURCES INC. (TSX-V: AMP.A) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors approved a change of name of the Company to Electric Metals Inc. The Company's new name will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under new stock symbol EMI.A, on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.

Donald Gee, President said "The name change reflects the Company's shift in direction from an industrial issuer to a resource based issuer whose corporate mission is acquisition and development of strategic minerals including Lithium, Rare Earth Elements and Vanadium."

There is no consolidation of capital.
