FAIRFIELD, N.J., Dec. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Amerlux CEO/President Chuck Campagna has announced the appointment of Scott Thompson to Regional Director of Sales Northeast, Exterior. Mr. Thompson will report directly to Ted des Enfants, Vice President of Sales, Northeast and New York Metro Area for Amerlux, a global leader in lighting, product innovation, manufacturing and creative lighting solutions for supermarkets, retailers, hotels, schools and other commercial markets.
Mr. Thompson will oversee the specification and distribution of Amerlux's exterior lighting products throughout Upstate New York and New England states. He will work closely with sales agencies to create successful lighting programs for distributors, designers, architects, municipalities, engineers, schools, landscape architects and parks/recreation facilities. Mr. Thompson's 38 years of industry experience includes Owner of an independent lighting sales agency, and District Sales Manager and Architectural Specialist for Lightolier-Genlyte Corporation.
Mr. Thompson is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the Independent Electrical Contractors Association (IECA). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
