Allergen alert - Sulphite content undeclared on certain packaging of Dublin's Pub brand apple cider Français
ROUGEMONT, QC, Oct. 1, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Arista Wines is currently collaborating with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) relative to a Class III notice on Authentic Dublin's Pub brand apple cider. A "Class III" notice represents a situation in which using or being exposed to a non-compliant product should not pose a danger to health. As a result, we hereby wish to inform consumers with sulphite intolerance or allergies of this situation. No incidents or complaints have yet arisen among consumers.
While the mandatory "Contains sulphites" message appears on all 355 ml bottles sold across the retail network, certain boxes containing four 355 ml bottles do not feature it. Arista Wines has since identified the source of this issue and taken the necessary corrective measures.
As of this writing, all Authentic Dublin's Pub inventories in Arista Wines' warehouses and those of its distributors have been meticulously inspected. Furthermore, all current shipments within the retail network are compliant.
Arista Wines wishes to apologize to its customers for any inconvenience or concerns that this notice may have caused.
