Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation to introduce new Child Ambassador
CALGARY, Sept. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Friday, September 13th, through the Children's Miracle Network Champions presented by Walmart Program, the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation will introduce its 2013/14 Champion Child - an amazing young man who for most of his life couldn't breathe unassisted. Now, thanks to care he received from experts at the Alberta Children's Hospital and an innovative surgery, our new Champion is living a happy and healthy life!
The media is invited to join the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation and Walmart Canada on Friday and learn about how the Alberta Children's Hospital has helped this young man and his grateful family.
Special guests and speakers at the event will include Dr. Derek Drummond, Section Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Alberta Children's Hospital; Chelsea Stephen, Store Manager, Walmart Canada; Saifa Koonar, President and CEO, Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation; and the 2013/2014 Champion Child & Family, part of Children's Miracle Network Champions presented by Walmart.
