MONTREAL, June 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Aeroplan today announced the addition of Aegean Airlines to its growing roster of travel partners. Starting today, Aeroplan Members can earn and redeem Aeroplan Miles for travel with Aegean Airlines bringing Aeroplan's total number of airline partners to 34.
Aegean Airlines, a Star Alliance partner, is the largest Greek carrier carrying 6.6 million passengers in 2009. The company operates a fleet of 30 aircraft that fly to 20 international destinations and holds a leading domestic position flying to 17 Greek destinations. The airline has been awarded repeatedly by the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) in recognition of its operating performance, commercial success and commitment to customer comfort and satisfaction.
