Aegis announces closing of Parmasters Memphis

VANCOUVER, June 10 /CNW/ - Aegis Investment Management (Golf) Inc. ("Aegis" or "the Company") today announced the closing of the Parmasters Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The current owners are looking for a buyer for the Center operations, including the facilities, equipment and franchise rights for the Parmasters brand for the Memphis area. The Regional Franchisor for South Central anticipates Parmasters Memphis will be reopened under new ownership and management in 2011.

"Having been in operation since June 2006, the Parmasters Center in Memphis served as a training ground for us, providing valuable insight, hands-on experience, and unlimited case studies as we developed the specialized training and systems manuals that make us unique," said Mr. Tom Matzen, President and CEO of Aegis. "We recognize the value that Parmasters Memphis and their team have provided and will review all available options in restoring operations with a focus on long-term profitability. The seven Parmasters facilities currently under construction or in the site selection stage, along with the 73 franchises sold will benefit greatly from the lessons learned in Memphis."
