TORONTO , Nov. 3 /CNW/ - On Thursday, November 5 , the Ontario Trillium Foundation will honour seven not-for-profit and charitable organizations selected as recipients of the 2009 Great Grants Awards. The awards recognize Ontario organizations that have demonstrated exceptional results, innovation and a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

    
    Ontario Trillium Foundation 2009 Great Grants Awards recipients are:

    Chair's Award                  Foodlink Waterloo Region
    Sports and Recreation Award    Youth Serving Agencies Network (Hamilton)
    Environment Award              Chippewas of Nawash Unceded Nation
                                   (Cape Croker)
    Arts and Culture Award         Salon du Livre du Grand Sudbury
    Human and Services Award       Fools For Health (Windsor)

    Ontario Culture Minister Aileen Carroll will congratulate the recipients
