Ackroo Appoints Eamonn Garry as Chief Executive Officer

OTTAWA, March 11, 2013 /CNW/ - Ackroo Inc. (TSX-V: AKR) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Eamonn Garry to the position of chief executive officer.

As chief technology officer and more recently, chief operating officer, Mr. Garry has played an instrumental role in building and leading the Company's technology, product management, sales and operations. Mr. Garry brings over 20 years experience in a variety of senior engineering and management roles at Amdocs, Bridgewater Systems and Nortel Networks.

The appointment of Mr. Garry as CEO supports the Company's continued focus on delivering an innovative and cost effective customer loyalty platform for local merchants across North America.  Ackroo's SaaS-based solution is designed for small to medium sized businesses and merchants looking for an affordable and easy to implement loyalty platform that enables them to build long-term profitable customer relationships as well as remain competitive with major retailers and national brands.

As part of this transition, Tyler Nelson has stepped down from the position of chief executive officer and will now spearhead a number of the Company's strategic initiatives, with a view to adding additional revenue streams and strategic partnerships to compliment the Company's core business. Mr. Nelson will remain on the Company's board of directors.
