TORONTO, May 8, 2014 /CNW/ - The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) is pleased to announce that the 4th Annual CCAB Aboriginal Entrepreneurs Conference and Trade Show (AECTS) formerly administered by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) is now proudly a solely CCAB run conference.
This year the CCAB is taking the baton from its government partners, and with this comes our commitment to build on the success of this unique national conference to make it even better. CCAB is making a special effort to better engage our participants in the expanded Trade Show time slots and our growing Business 2 Business Match Making Series. This year's theme serves to reflect the growing economic powerhouse that Aboriginal business continues to lead across the country.
Through the lens of CCAB's priorities and optimism about Aboriginal business growth, AECTS will provide an exclusive learning and business networking platform. Aboriginal businesses, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from across Canada will come together to advance mutually beneficial business interests. Further, CCAB hopes that panel discussions ranging from the northern economy to procurement systems to name just a few, will further strengthen participation leading to constructive new business connections.
The Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) through 30 years of building bridges between Aboriginal business and corporate Canada continues to level the playing field and strengthen collective potential through core programming such as Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR), the Certified Aboriginal Business (CAB) program, and mentorship.
The upcoming 4th Annual CCAB AECTS Conference is taking place in Gatineau, Quebec, October 8 - 10, 2014 at the Hilton Lac-Leamy. It promises to activate the Aboriginal business entrepreneurial spirit through expanded partnerships and new opportunities to grow existing and potential business endeavors.
