SAINT-MICHEL DE NAPIERVILLE, QC, June 18 /CNW Telbec/ - Nine executive chefs from the region of Montreal will cook al fresco at the Maison de campagne, an old farm transformed into a visual arts and culinary center, situated in Saint-Michel de Napierville, to collect money for underprivileged children of Quebec.
This is a novel way of raising funds: A gastronomic nine course meal prepared under the open sky by nine of Montreal's top chefs. Guests will wander from food station to food station set in the truly bucolic scenery of the farm to savor each chef's signature dish. During the event well known photographer Anton Fercher, winner of the Canadian Culinary Culture Book Award 2006 from the University of Guelph for his book Chapeau! Canada: les grand chefs, will create his own piece de resistance: a discrete photo shoot where the unaware guests take on a starring role in a natural and relaxed environment.
