KITCHENER, ON, Oct. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Waterloo Brewing Co., the craft brewing division of Brick Brewing Co. Limited (TSX: BRB), today unveiled a new seasonal brew and mix pack for beer drinkers to enjoy this Fall and Winter. Waterloo Small Batch Brews features the most popular dark beer in Ontario, Waterloo Dark, a returning seasonal favourite, Union Mills Oatmeal Porter and a new small batch brew, Vanilla Porter.
Real Madagascar vanilla beans add a rich flavour and caramel finish, and like its twin Union Mills Oatmeal Porter it is brewed using only the finest dark roasted barley malt. "We're very proud of these two seasonal craft brews" offered Chief Operating Officer Russell Tabata. "As the weather turns cold it's an opportunity for our craft beers to shine. There really is nothing like a hearty, well-crafted porter to tame our cold Ontario winters. Our new Vanilla Porter is a truly exceptional brew. I hope people enjoy drinking it as much as we did making it."
"Kitchener-Waterloo is the beer loving heart of the country" stated George Croft, President and CEO. "The German beer heritage in this part of Ontario is so strong and our brewery is very proud to carry on that tradition in these high quality, highly crafted seasonal beers."
Waterloo Brewing Co. Small Batch Brews are available at the LCBO and select The Beer Store locations, for only $13.50 including deposit.
