General Mills Canada announced as Official Supplier of Cereal, Granola Bars and Yogurt
HAMILTON, ON, Dec. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - Hungry athletes, coaches and volunteers will be getting a nutritional boost during the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games thanks to cereal, granola bars and yogurt from General Mills Canada, a company with a long history of supporting international sport and children's fitness.
The company was announced today as an Official Supplier, the latest corporate sponsor to step up and get behind the Games. "We're excited to have General Mills and their employees as part of our Games family. This leading company has iconic brands that we all know and remember," said Saäd Rafi, chief executive officer of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015). "We'll be hosting 10,000 coaches and athletes, with the help of more than 23,000 volunteers. "Our company has been a proud supporter of many amateur athletes and their drive to the podium. This partnership announcement is a further demonstration of our ongoing commitment to promote sport, fitness and amateur athletics."
The announcement was made at Sport Hamilton's annual Breakfast of Champions, where the community gathered to support and celebrate local athletes who have achieved provincial, national and international success.
