25th Annual Gemini Awards Conclude With Star-Studded Broadcast Gala Hosted by

TORONTO, Nov. 13 /CNW/ - The 25th Annual Gemini Awards concluded its silver anniversary celebration this evening with a black-tie Broadcast Gala at Toronto's historic Winter Garden Theatre. Hosted by Glee's Cory Monteith, a total of 19 awards were presented, including those for Best Comedy Program or Series and Best Dramatic Series. The awards gala, broadcast on Global and Showcase, featured a moving tribute to Degrassi, and an unforgettable performance by Elvis Costello with Feist, Ron Sexsmith, Kendel Carson, and Barry Bales.

The following categories were announced at tonight's Broadcast Gala:
