24th Annual OSAID Conference and CHAIN OF LIFE "UNPROTEST"

TORONTO, May 7 /CNW/ - At 2:00 p.m. today in Oakville 300 teens from across Ontario will gather for an UNPROTEST. They will host a CHAIN OF LIFE on Trafalgar Road to show support for young drivers and passengers who make the right choice about driving sober and getting home safely.

OSAID has hosted over 24 three-day conferences for youth since 1986 with little fanfare for the great work being done. Executive Director Matt Evans noted "5000+ teen volunteers have been providing positive messaging around peers, parties and smart choices in our secondary schools and our communities for over two decades. He added "There needs to be more credit for the good work being done to prevent impaired driving rather than after the fact media attention for a crash."

The UNPROTEST will take place along Trafalgar Road in Oakville to cheer those who make the smart choice to always drive sober.
