The CX-5 continues to deliver on the values that have made it Mazda's best-selling vehicle, pairing a refined cabin and generous cargo room with advanced technology. Every CX-5 is available with Google built-in, seamlessly integrating Gemini, a truly helpful AI assistant. With Gemini you can speak naturally to find the perfect pit stop, adjust settings like the climate and learn about your vehicle, all hands-free.
New for 2027, Rear Seat Alert is standard across the lineup, joining an extensive suite of driver-assistance and safety technologies designed to support driver awareness and confidence. Mazda's commitment to safety is demonstrated in the CX-5, which comes with a comprehensive suite of standard safety and driver-assistance features, allowing the driver to focus on what matters: driving.
Visually, the CX-5's bold, modern interpretation of Mazda's Kodo design language can be personalized through a curated selection of exterior colours, including standard Navy Blue Mica and Jet Black Mica, along with five premium options: Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Polymetal Grey Metallic, Aero Grey Metallic, Machine Grey Metallic, and Rhodium White Metallic.
The CX-5's proven SkyActiv-G 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine produces 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque on regular 87-octane fuel. Paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and standard i-Activ all-wheel drive (AWD), it helps make the CX-5 one of the most compelling vehicles to drive in its segment. Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive) allows the driver to choose between Normal, Sport and Off-Road drive modes to optimize the performance of the transmission in varying driving conditions. Inside, the GX features a 12.9-inch full-colour centre touchscreen display with Google built-in, bringing Gemini, Google Maps, and your favorite apps on Google Play, along with Mazda Connected Vehicle Services. An eight-speaker audio system with AM/FM/HD Radio, wired Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility, Bluetooth® connectivity, and two front USB-C ports help keep occupants connected.
Comfort and convenience features include dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry with push-button start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, heated front seats, cloth upholstery, an eight-way manual driver's seat, six-way manual passenger seat, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster display, and a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat with reclining functionality.

Exterior enhancements include 19-inch alloy wheels with machined spokes and dark-painted pockets, heated power-folding exterior mirrors, black roof rails, a programmable-height power rear liftgate, and a windshield wiper de-icer.
Inside, the GS upgrades to leatherette and cloth-trimmed upholstery, a 10-way power driver's seat with lumbar support and memory settings, linked exterior mirror memory, a six-way manual passenger seat, a heated steering wheel, and a large windshield-projected Active Driving Display.
Technology enhancements include wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto compatibility, wireless phone charging, rear passenger air vents, advanced keyless entry, an auto-dimming frameless rearview mirror with HomeLink®, and illuminated vanity mirrors.
CX-5 GT
The GT further elevates the CX-5 experience with additional premium styling, comfort, and entertainment features.
Distinctive exterior elements include 19-inch black metallic alloy wheels, LED signature front and rear lighting, piano-black wheel arch and rocker trim, piano-black lower bumper accents, and a shark-fin antenna.
