16 bartenders, 16 cocktail creations, 2 winners: MadeWithLove™ National Mixology Competition is back to seal the deal on March 25th, 2013 at the Fermenting Cellar
TORONTO, March 18, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Get ready to discover the most creative cocktails Toronto has to offer. Next Monday—March 25th, 2013—16 bartenders will compete in the final stretch of this year's Toronto edition of the MadeWithLove™ National Mixology Competition. After narrowing down the competition in the January qualifiers, MadeWithLove™ is back to seal the deal on Toronto's top mixologists. The 16 finalists were chosen following an ever-competitive qualifying event where hopefuls were asked to create a signature cocktail inspired by the city itself and reflective of one of Toronto's ever so popular neighborhoods—Cabbagetown, Chinatown, College Street, High Park, Liberty Village.
This time around, they are aiming for one of two titles: Judges' Choice or Public's Choice. For the Public's Choice, ticket holders will be asked to choose their favourite cocktail following an exclusive tasting of the evening's creations. The Judge's Choice winner will in turn be chosen by a panel of judges based on the originality, presentation and taste of the bartenders' creations. In both cases, the winner will receive an all-expense-paid, three-day trip to Cancún, México, to take part in the MadeWithLove™ México tour in August 2013.
