BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - $12 Million Phase II Club Improvement Plan finished construction with US Congressman Ted Deutch, former Palm Beach County Commissioner Burt Aaronson, and a large crowd of St. Andrews Country Club members at a Ceremony in mid-November. Renovations encompassed a complete redesign of the clubhouse, Gallery restaurant and lounge/bar, main entry features, landscaping, recreation and aquatic center and addition of three new dining venues.
Michael Goldman, President, St. Andrews CC Board of Governors joined by Deutch and Aaronson addressed the crowd, "The goal of our entire Club Improvement Plan is to protect our members' community values by investing in upgraded amenities which are attractive to a new generation of members. With the completion of Phase II we can announce that our strategy is working. We have many new families joining the club from as close as the community next door to families from around the globe."
St. Andrews CC members enjoy having five dining spaces year round. The Gallery restaurant, The View – a new bar and lounge, the Vine Room a private room in the Gallery limited to 50 guests, Café Blue casual fare and specialty drink menu complemented by superior poolside service and Lakeside, loved by members for its casual ambiance.
The new Recreation & Aquatic Center features three pools; a brimming edge Junior Olympic pool, activity pool and an adult plunge pool. An expanded deck surrounds all three pools with new, eclectic pool furniture and individual sun shades.
