MONTREAL, April 1, 2025 /CNW/ - The steering committee of the D'est en Est initiative and the Chambre de commerce de l'Est de Montréal (CCEM) invite media representatives to attend the second edition of the Sommet de l'Est on Monday, April 7, at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

This major gathering will bring together numerous elected officials, public decision-makers, civil society leaders, and economic stakeholders, marking a new milestone in the mobilization for the revitalization of the region. Key players will unite their efforts to advance projects and help shape the future of eastern Montreal. Several announcements will be made during the event.

Opening addresses and discussion featuring the Minister of Economy, Innovation, and Energy, Minister Responsible for Regional Economic Development, and Minister Responsible for the Metropolis and the Montreal Region, Christine Fréchette; the Mayor of Montreal, Valérie Plante; the Mayor of Montreal-Est, Anne St-Laurent; and the CEO of the Chambre de commerce de l'Est de Montréal (CCEM), Jean-Denis Charest.
