LACHINE, QC, Sept. 18, 2025 /CNW/ - We warmly invite media representatives to witness this unique, empowering event that showcases the strength, determination, and spirit of our young leaders in action.
This will be the main fundraising event of the year for Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada. Close to 1 million chocolatey mint cookies will be sold in communities across the province this fall.
This extraordinary effort brings together Girl Guide members, and their families in a united mission to raise essential funds that will support a full year of activities focused on leadership, teamwork, resilience, and a wide range of life skills.
In today's challenging economic situation, fundraising is more important than ever but Girl Guides across Quebec are ready to rise to the occasion.
Interesting fact – This fundraising tradition has taken place in Canada for almost 100 years.
All of the nearly 3,000 cases of cookies that members will be selling this fall will be distributed on Saturday as volunteers will stop by to pick up their group's orders.
