TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Wish you had a hotline for your biggest
financial questions? Canadians needing expert insight to their most
pressing money concerns can now join the conversation - and have their
questions answered - at RateSupermarket.ca's Financial Literacy Twitter Party.
In the spirit of Financial Literacy Month, RateSupermarket.ca, Canada's comprehensive financial rates comparison
site, is hosting a one-hour Twitter chat about the top financial
literacy challenges facing consumers. Hosted by Money Wise Editor Penelope Graham, the chat will run from 12 - 1 p.m. EST on Friday, November 8, and is
free for all to participate.
Five lucky participants will also win copies of Fight Back: 81 Ways To Help You Save Money And Protect Yourself From
Corporate Trickery, sponsored by author and esteemed Toronto Star journalist and consumer
advocate Ellen Roseman.
"When it comes to financial choices, knowing you're making the right
decisions can be a source of anxiety for consumers - the pressure is on
to make the most of that hard earned money," says Graham. "Through this
interactive event, we're aiming to provide an accessible platform for
consumers to ask their most pressing questions, and engage in a
real-time conversation about their options."
