Will Garry Sowerby, Canadian adventure driver, get lucky on Friday the 13th in Dawson City, Yukon when he launches new book Driven Mind?
WHITEHORSE, Nov. 12, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - As part of the launch of Driven Mind, Garry Sowerby will re-visit Dawson City, Yukon, 13 years after his first midadventure in that outpost. On Friday the 13th, Sowerby will launch Driven Mind at a press conference in Whitehorse, Yukon then he and wife, Lisa Calvi, head to Dawson City and attempt to NOT replicate that Friday the 13th in 2002.
Yukon is the first of seven pop-up global launches over the next 11 months in places that have significance in Driven Mind, a book of 50 short stories chronicling Sowerby's adventures including setting four Guinness Records for long-distance driving.
