Sport Clips Haircuts Continues its Record Growth by Recently Awarding it's 77th License in Canada
Leader in hair care for men and boys continues to expand rapidly throughout Canada
LONDON, ON, July 15, 2014 /CNW/ - Sport Clips Haircuts, a modern-day barbershop concept and leader in hair care for men and boys, has no plans of slowing down their rapid expansion throughout Canada. The Canadian Master Franchisor has recently awarded its 77th franchise license, within two years of starting operations in Canada.
The franchise currently has 12 locations open across Canada (10 in Southern Ontario, one in Saskatoon, SK and one in Surrey, BC), and is on pace to have a total of 22 Stores open by the end of 2014. While on track to achieving their stated goal of having 50 locations open in 2016, 100 open in 2018, and 200 open in 2022, Sport Clips Canada is particularly thrilled to open two Stores this month in its fourth Province: Calgary, Alberta.

"We started our initial growth in Southern Ontario, and have since awarded a total of 16 licenses in Saskatchewan and Alberta, along with another 16 licenses in British Columbia."
One of the more recent Franchisees comes from an elite sports background. Brent Parker from Regina, SK was the former President and co-owner of the Regina Pats (WHL). After spending 18-years with the team, Parker resigned in May 2013 and is now turning his energy toward opening five Sport Clips stores across Saskatchewan. "We are very fortunate to have Franchisees like Brent Parker involved with Sport Clips," said Mark Schiffner, CEO of Sport Clips Canada. "Our franchisees come from very diverse backgrounds, they all have strong business experience, which is what we look for most.
