VANCOUVER, Dec. 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Sky Harvest Energy Corp. is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the Northern Centre for Advanced Technologies Inc. ("NORCAT"), a private non-profit organization based in Sudbury, Ontario that has a mandate to foster the growth of innovative and scalable companies, whereby Sky Harvest's subsidiary, Sky Vertical Technologies Inc., will move its vertical wind axis turbine testing and manufacturing facilities to its 70,000 square foot incubator and development facility. NORCAT will also aid Sky Vertical in accessing global experts and advisors in the sector with the aim of helping the Company grow, create knowledge economy employment opportunities, and generate wealth. NORCAT's services will include assisting with product technical design, engineering, and development; prototyping, testing, and enhancing speed to market; and arranging capital services, grants, and forgivable loans.

In connection with Sky Vertical's arrangement with NORCAT, Sky Harvest's C.E.O., William Iny stated, "We are excited about the opportunities that are likely to emerge as a result of our newly-formed relationship with NORCAT. In discussions with its principals, it is clear that there is great potential for synergy between our organizations. NORCAT has the tools and connections to help us expand our business quickly and we hope to play a role in contributing to its other business efforts. Reliable, economical, and environmentally friendly sources of electricity are a key concern of many of its mining company clients and we hope that our relationship with NORCAT will help fulfill this need. NORCAT has developed a broad collaborative network with organizations such as the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, the Northwest Ontario Innovation Centre, the N.R.C. Industrial Research Assistance Program, and the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs. We hope that we can help these groups attain their regional development goals while also creating value for our shareholders."
