TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2016 /CNW/ - BCCAs celebrate Canada-based champions of body positivity, body confidence and body acceptance. "From body love to human rights, education, arts and entertainment, health and wellness to fashion with a social conscience, our recipients are role models who are leading the way towards a world where body-shaming does not win," says BCCAs co-founders and body image advocates Jill Andrew and Aisha Fairclough. Hosted by media personality Daniel Pillail, the evening features live performances by Lucas Silveira (The Cliks) and Troy Jackson performing his hit HeyHater in honour of Curvy Catwalk Fashion Fundraiser, an initiative Andrew & Fairclough created in 2006.
